Principals - Stephen Tyler, FCSI, M.A.A.T.O., B.Comm.


LTD Consulting Group Inc. Principal Stephen Tyler is Project Director with ultimate client responsibility for all assigned projects. Stephen provides planning and design direction, has full knowledge of equipment choices and options, provides site coordination and contractor liaison services and acts as the vital link between all design and development teams. Stephen’s extensive experience as a foodservice facilities consultant and his knowledge of interior design concepts, architectural design and mechanical & electrical systems enables him to organize a fully coordinated team effort ensuring that no planning aspect is unduly compromised.


Stephen is a Professional Member of the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI), where he currently holds the position of Secretary/Treasurer of the North American Division and has previously served as Chairman of the Canadian Chapter. Steve is also an Accredited Member of the Association of Architectural Technologists of Ontario (M.A.A.T.O.), and holds a certificate in CADD systems from the CAD Resource Centre and a diploma in Architectural Technology from Centennial College. Stephen has an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the College of Management and Economics at the University of Guelph, where he also spent several years teaching food facility design to fourth year students of the program.

Stephen began consulting in 1987 which culminated in a senior associate/CADD manager position with Nelson Hofer Associates where he was responsible for space analysis, assessment of building system requirements related to foodservice areas, preparation of planning schematics and design development. Prior to consulting, Stephen worked in a wide variety of foodservice management positions including that of Unit Manager at Canada's Wonderland and Assistant Unit Manager for the University of Guelph. He has also held various service and production positions with Red Lobster Restaurants, Mother's Pizza and Pasta Restaurants, McDonald's Restaurants, Canada's Wonderland and the University of Guelph.
